Somehow when I lived in Colorado this race didn’t hold much appeal.  Separation makes the heart grow fonder as they say…as I sit here 9 miles from the start wide awake at 3 AM it’s tough to contain the eager, childish(!), giddyness I’m feeling.  Hope it lasts for more than a few hours ;)

There looks to be about 40 riders taking the start??  Apparently Stefan didn’t make the route hard enough.  Odd ’cause it’s been fodder for more than a few middle of the night wakeful thinktanks on my part…this route hits me in a gutteral way that GLR never did.

I’ll explain that when I get back.  For now, follow along here:  http://trackleaders.com/ctr.  I’m carrying a spot for this one.  Check out the “discussion” links at the tracker, it’s all ya need to enjoy the action.

  1. It was nice to see you out there Dave! LOL, my favorite quote of the day was yours, “I’m not in that much of a hurry.”
